I was walking home when I saw two off-leash dogs running down the street in such a free way that I knew they had run away from someone or somewhere. The fact that there was absolutely no one around who could be their owner confirmed my suspicion. When they saw my dog, they ran up to him and I was able to inspect them. They had collars, but no tags. One was a miniature schnauzer, like my own dog, and the other was indeterminate. The closest breed I could think it looked like was a boxer.
I hopefully asked a woman around my age walking by if they were hers. She said no, and now she was worried about them too. I asked her if she could help me catch them and take them to my house, which was about a block away. She agreed and took off after the bigger one. I managed to catch the schnauzer, and fortuitously found a length of thin rope, which I used to leash him. The woman lost the bigger dog, which was a shame and I’m still concerned about him.
Anyway, she helped me get the schnauzer home and now the two dogs are playing and my baby is totally impressed. Animal Control is on their way to pick him up. Hopefully he has a tattoo and will get home quickly. If not, I would love to keep him myself! He’s pretty sweet.

I washed all the baby clothes. My husband helped by getting the dog to model all the hats.

I’ve never seen my dog dig in his bed like this before.
(The noise is my husband using a carpet cleaner.)

Really hard to stop cuddling my dog and get ready for work when he’s giving me this face.
