They do a news report about how the man who invented the Daleks has died, do a quick rundown on the Daleks’ history, and end with a clip of one saying, “Exterminate.”
We usually listen to podcasts in the car, but this was great timing to be listening to Sirius radio.

Doctor Who was really amazing and wonderful. Oswin being the new companion would have been more shocking had I recognized her! Just recognized her name in the end credits. Was still pretty shocking. MOFFAT!!

My ears perked up when they made a “bigger on the inside” joke while introducing the story on CBC Radio’s As It Happens. Edinburgh is selling 22 TARDISes!
Another thing I saw in Seattle was a big poster of a Dalek at the EMP (Experience Music Project). It was an ad for their upcoming Icons of Science Fiction exhibition. Apparently they will have an actual Dalek!
